I recently attended the first annual Podcaster Conference 2006 in Chapel HIll, NC on January 7. It was a huge success and it had a higher attendance than expected. There was approximately 300 people at the conference. The purpose of the conference was to educate people on podcasting and to bring local podcaster together. There were also people from as far as Akron, Ohio and Washington,DC.

• Podcasting as a Teaching/Learning Strategy by David Warlick
• Women in Podcasting by Mur Lafferty
• Podcasting for Everyone by Ryan Irelan of www.podcastfreeamerica.com
• Teens in Podcasting by Kevin Lewis and Beau Wright of Attack of the Nerds
